Welcome to this month’s construction update for Serai Residences
We’re pleased to share the latest progress and key milestones achieved over the past few weeks and those that are upcoming.
As works continue to progress on site, it’s really all about concrete. With many associated works occuring, such as preparing formwork, placing the reinforcing steel and installing services, but what most people see is the concrete.
Works completed through July and August
Installation of drainage and services under the lower basement carpark
Installation of retaining walls along the western boundary
Installation of retaining walls along the north side of the lower basement carpark
Footings and columns for the lower basement carpark
Concrete slabs for the lower basement carpark
Concrete cores for the lifts and stairs in the lower basement carpark
First half of the concrete slabs for the upper basement carpark

Upcoming works through September and October

Continue boundary retaining works
The team are looking foward to seeing the building structure raise about the fence line and make rapid progress upwards from there.
More sunshine and less rain will be a welcome change for the on site team.
